Purpose of Assignment

The purpose of this Learning Team presentation assignment is to introduce students to the study of case law using the IRAC, (Issue, Rule, Analysis, and Conclusion) method of case analysis. By breaking cases down using issue (I) recognition, rule of law (R) identification, analysis (A) of the law to the facts of the case, and stating the conclusion (C) based on the analysis, students learn legal concepts based on the facts presented in the selected case.
